The Study on Characteristics of Precipitation and Its Return Period Calculation in Wuhan in Recent 30 Years Based on Data Analysis

Meteorological big data has a wide geographical range, large space-time density, many types and strong timeliness. It become the requirement of development meteorological industry to quickly extract huge information knowledge from solve problem weather prediction. Based on measured maximum one-hour rainfall six representative stations in Wuhan 1992 2021, variation law, characteristic analysis return period different aging precipitation city past 30 years are analyzed. The results show that although number days increased year by years, rainstorm more than generally decreasing trend. is mainly concentrated spring (March-May) summer (June-August), with most summer. monthly July, least December. daily between 55.1∼285.7mm, average hourly 122.4mm reaches 98.6mm. At last, based parameters GEV distribution, precipitation, 3h, 6h, 12h, 24h continuous fitted, values recurrence periods estimated.
